Hello and Welcome!
My name is Ms. Anyssa Frias and I am one of the 4th grade teachers at Norris Elementary.
First, I'd like to start off by giving some background about myself and my educational journey. I started my journey at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, California and received my Associates Degree in Liberal Arts, I then transferred to California State University, Bakersfield and received my Bachelor Degree in Liberal Studies. From there, I received my Masters of Arts in Education with Concentration in Teaching, as well as my Teaching Credential from Alder Graduate School of Education.
As an educator, I am honored in having this opportunity to make a difference in young lives. I strongly believe that every student can learn and I will try my very best to make sure I do all I can to support our children. I also believe that this in this profession it takes a village to ensure success in our students; therefore, I encourage parents to reach out to me with any questions just as I would to them. I have no doubt that this school year will be a great one for both students and myself, but it does not mean that it will be easy. Fourth grade is a pivotal year and it is important that students understand that even when it gets tough - they can still be successful!
I look forward to meeting everyone and if there are any questions, please do not hesitate to reach me.
