I'm thrilled to have you in my class this year. I am always here to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and celebrate your accomplishments. Here's to a fabulous 5th grade year!
I graduated from Foothill High School. Then, I attended the Pacific Conservatory of Performing Arts and worked at PCPA Theaterfest in Santa Maria and Solvang. I attended Bakersfield College and received an AA in Child Development. From there, I moved on to CSUB to earn a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential.
I started teaching in 2001 and joined the Norris family in 2008, teaching 1st grade. In 2015, I moved up to 5th grade. I'm excited for another year of learning and growing both for my students as well as for myself.
I have two children, Lukas (13) and Jenna (18), and both were proud to be Norris Squires. I drink lots of coffee and never pass up chocolate. When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, volunteering at church, karaoke, road trips, reading, and baking.
