Hi there, my name is Kelsey Galpin and this is my first year at Norris Elementary School. I am so excited to be the new 5th grade teacher! We have an amazing 5th grade team! I am local to Bakersfield where I graduated from Cal State University of Bakersfield and currently in the La Verne Masters in Teaching program. 

 

Before I started teaching, I was a flight attendant for Delta Air and loved traveling across the world! This year I themed my classroom to be future world travelers in hopes of inspiring my students to see the world!

 

It is mission to instill a love for learning in my students. I attempt to teach with a passion for my subject so that my students develop a desire to become life long learners. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
